Attending corp event, staff very nice, facility clean. Central fountain area a lively place to mingle. New management since last year
will never stay here again. bathroom ceiling tiles full of black mold. buttons on phone didn't work (only the speed dial buttons). alarm clock broken. buffet breakfast was $1 more than advertised and most was inedible - dried out or tasted old. poor signage once you get on the the access road and the hotel is past some business buildings so in the snowstorm, was very hard to find. room service food pitiful. no 'do not disturb' signs so the maids woke us up at 8:30, well before the 11 am checkout period. employees very noisy in the parking lot outside our window until 2 am - sounded like party time out there. heater cycled on and off every 15 seconds. oh and yeah - I think i have bed bug bites.
Lovely interior, great food, and kind food. What's not to love about the Regency. I've stayed here twice. Once at random, the second specifically booking a room and attending events. I recommend this spot for close proximity to 495.
We attended a meeting in the conference area. Very nice accommodations. Very good food.
Very pet friendly! Nearby the exit but not well signed to find in the dark if you are unfamiliar with the side streets and commercial park the hotel is at the back of. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. No designated smoking areas so you walk through a cloud at every entrance door and it carries into the hallways. Quiet at night and no slamming doors. Would stay again!
